Our Summer Clerkship will provide you with an unrivalled opportunity to rotate through and fully immerse yourself in our internationally recognised practice areas, offering you the chance to do real work with real clients from the get go.
On top of this you will have a buddy and ongoing support from a diverse team of junior and senior lawyers as well as training sessions from some of New Zealand's top legal experts.

About You
You will most likely be in your penultimate year of law school. Whilst academic excellence is appreciated we also value life experience and a thirst for continual learning and growth. If you like to dig in and get the most out of every opportunity, you will enjoy working with us. Our hands-on, collaborative approach means you will quickly find yourself an invaluable part of the team you work with.There will be an understanding and supportive network around you from day one including:

Learning and Development
We want to invest in you and your career development by providing different learning and development opportunities.
Alongside your ‘on the job’ coaching and development, we offer training that will support you to further develop your technical expertise as well as your interpersonal, professional and leadership skills.

We encourage you to have a discussion with us around what flexible working could look like for you at Anthony Harper. To support you in working more flexibly, we will reimburse you up to $400 for the cost of equipment to enable a safe and functional home office set-up.
To recognise your long service to Anthony Harper, on completion of five years’ continuous service, you will receive an additional week of annual leave each year.
