SUCCESS STORY – MARCUS GOBAL

Walking into the MG Marketing Graduate programme was an exciting step into my career following my studies in Commerce and Physical Education at the University of Otago. The MG Marketing Graduate programme provides diversity in the many facets of business you encounter, from domestically grown produce to imported fruits and the logistics involved of obtaining product from the grower and delivering to the consumer. The programme provides a complete overview, and hands on experience of the distinct categories of produce which passes through the warehouse doors from all corners of the globe, and the different time frames and conditions each product needs to be consumer friendly.

Throughout my time in the graduate programme, I was lucky enough to learn all aspects of the business from top to bottom, spending weeks in all departments which make up the company, with people from all walks of life and hierarchical statuses. Everybody has time for you and you are always treated like a valued member of the team! The best thing about MG Marketing is the warm, welcome and friendly feel you receive from everybody you encounter.
