At Beca, we’re working together to transform our world. We combine our skills and insights with those of our clients, using the power of partnerships to think, design and develop creative solutions together.
We are 3400 professionals spread across 20 Asia Pacific offices. But we are One Beca. As a diverse team of engineers, planners, project managers, architects, quantity surveyors, valuers, and consultants practicing in a wide range of disciplines, we work together to make everyday better for our clients and our communities.
While our experience has been 99 years in the making, it’s the fresh talent we’re nurturing, the innovative thinking we’re developing and the connections that we’re forging that get us most excited for the future.
Our vision, purpose and values
Our vision: ‘creative people together transforming our world’ and values of Partnership, Tenacity, Enjoyment and Care, have been powering what we do for more than 99 years. Together with our clients we are transforming communities and changing lives.
As we approach our centenary in 2020, we felt an important question still had to be answered – our why? It became clear that we all come to work to make both the everyday and every day better in some way for our clients, our communities and our colleagues.
Our work impacts the everyday lives in our communities, whether it’s a dry home, hot coffee, traffic jam free commute, effective public transport, smart work spaces or a cold beer at the end of the day – we make the everyday better.
Join us to make everyday better.
At Beca, our creative people are our greatest asset - together we are transforming our world. The more diverse we are, the better our ideas, strategies and client solutions will be and the more we will represent our world. We recognise that being inclusive of everyone, regardless of differences, is essential to maximising creativity.
We know that we are stronger when people from different backgrounds and perspectives work together. We are committed to growing an environment where our people have equal opportunities to build a career that reflects their ability and passions, and can believe in their potential, feel they belong and be their best selves. We support our people to work flexibly to find balance in our busy lives.
In Australia last year we launched our first Reconciliation Action Plan, the first step of our journey to bridge the gap with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples at work and in society. And in New Zealand we support South Pacific Indigenous Engineering Students (SPIES), offer a number of scholarships to support future talent, and have partnered with the Diversity Agenda to get more women into engineering and architecture.
