Apply your digital, technical and people skills in a role where you will be challenged from day one.  You will be working with some of the leading digital minds at Beca to support the delivery of highly complex projects in a wide variety of business environments, where the solutions you help create have purpose and make an impact.  Our projects and products require creative and modular solutions which leverage existing and new technologies to achieve the best outcome for our clients.  This means our graduate roles are highly varied, giving you exposure to a range of industries and technologies.  We want you to adapt, learn, contribute and collaborate.  You will be comfortable with ambiguity, be proactive and flexible in working with the team to do what is required to deliver.  

As a Beca graduate in our Digital Products and Services business, you will work with clients across a diverse range of projects. You will be working alongside subject matter experts across multiple disciplines and market segments. You will also be tested and challenged, working across a range of project timelines and priorities, with support from our very collaborative team.

Our graduate roles are about the people skills you bring to collaborate, building credible relationships and working across a diverse range of professional experts and individual styles.  However, you will also be working across a range of technologies including IoT, digital twins, AI, and AR/VR, while developing skills in product ownership, stakeholder engagement, requirements management, testing, and DevOps support. 

We have an extensive client base and as part of a true multi-disciplinary business you will have exposure to projects that other’s simply do not get early in their career.  Our clients see us as their trusted advisor where we can leverage a range of disciplines to help solve problems and realise their business potential. 

In our Digital Services business, you will be:

  • Encouraged to contribute to the business beyond project work, we want you to have an opinion and share it 
  • Apply your people skills, developing your consulting skill set, working with internal and external clients 
  • Honing your technical skills on a variety of projects from concept to implementation
  • Working collaboratively with other technology disciplines
  • Getting your hands dirty, with plenty of variety in your role

About you | Te rongoā

You will be a passionate problem solver, with an inquisitive mind as to how technology can be an enabler, matched with a desire to work on meaningful and significant projects across New Zealand.  Your people skills and how you work is also important to us – we will value your enthusiasm, can do attitude, relationship building capability and motivation to continue to learn from your peers and more senior members of the team.

While your degree is important, your problem-solving abilities and people skills are more important to us.  We are therefore considering applications from a broad range of degree backgrounds including, but not limited to:

  • Mechatronics Engineering

Alternative qualifications in traditional Commerce and Science fields will be considered.  We also invite applications if you don’t have these qualifications however can demonstrate a strong interest in technology and digital solutions across the New Zealand business environment or have an exposure to previous digital, technology or software projects.
