With recent project wins and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our Wellington team. With the strong focus that we have on our people, we are open to discussing different flexible work arrangements for this role. You will be working with seasoned Geotechnical Engineers, Engineering Geologists and Hydrogeologists in the delivery of geotechnical projects. Your duties will largely include:
- Managing and delivering projects with support from our technical specialists
- Liaising with clients and project management
- Planning and executing field assignments such as soil sampling, borehole/test pit logging and drilling guidance
- Undertaking geotechnical/ geological investigations and reporting
- Preparing technical proposals and reports with senior review
- Assisting with or carrying out data analysis and interpretation
- Carrying out project design under the general direction of senior professionals
You will have a Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree would be advantageous) in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, have strong written and verbal communication skills, an enthusiasm for fieldwork and a willingness to constantly learn and develop.
