Who Are We?
Campbell Tyson is a provincial accounting practice with five directors and approximately fifty staff who have an extensive range of business expertise and specialist knowledge. We have offices in both Pukekohe and Te Kauwhata but our client base is very broad in respect of both geography and industry. Approximately a third of our client base is involved in farming and farming related activities, a third in general trade and industry and a third in a wide range of investment. This diversity ensures our team develop in-depth practical experience across a number of industry sectors.
Campbell Tyson celebrates 96 years in business this year. This longevity has been achieved through our "Forward Thinking" approach and our ability to develop traditional accounting practices into innovative client-focused services. Our flexibility and adaptability allow us to ensure that our clients get the best results and service in an ever-changing landscape.
We love business – it excites us! It’s why we get up in the morning… and it is this passion that drives us to help grow businesses and successful business people – this refers to our clients and to our team –we are all business people.

Culture and Community
At Campbell Tyson we believe “you get what you give” so the contribution we make to each other, our team, and to the businesses and families of our community is extremely important to us.
Yes – we work hard BUT we play hard as well. We have a very active social club which organises monthly trips and events such as Super Rugby games and quiz nights. We have an “end of month” celebration on the last Friday of every with after work drinks and nibbles and we have a number of large firm functions every year. Our mid-year function this year is a black tie/red carpet “Night at the Oscars” themed event.
Our flagship event is our annual trip to the National Agricultural Fieldays held at Mystery Creek in June. This year around 150 clients and 15 of our team headed South for a great day of all things “farming”. This event is a fabulous opportunity to spend time with our clients in a fun and social setting.
Campbell Tyson has a number of sports teams competing in local business house and social competitions including indoor netball and squash. Getting involved with the teams is a great way to interact and have some fun with our team.
Community involvement is very important at Campbell Tyson and we support a number of local initiatives including such things as school calf club days. In addition to this we are supporting the Mental Health Foundation of NZ this year and have lots of fun team challenges and initiatives to help raise funds for this very important cause.
