Graduate Programme

Campbell Tyson strives to recruit at least six graduate or trainee accountants to our team each year, into an environment where inquisitiveness (asking loads of questions) is encouraged and rewarded.   

Our program starts in February and we have developed a program proven to give our recruits the strongest grounding in accounting practices.  Our program's success is a result of our innovative training environment where our recruits make up one team, assisted by a dedicated trainer, manager, and administrator.

Campbell Tyson also offers each staff member a mentor, to assist with setting goals for the future and provide feedback on the progress made.  Our training manager performs this role for our successful recruits until they are ready to move into the wider team.

Campbell Tyson is an Approved Training Employer (ATE) registered with the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and has a number of qualified mentors in the team to ensure CAANZ requirements are met.  We encourage our Graduates to commence their professional study under the CAANZ new pathway in their second year with us.  We encourage personal development and provide generous assistance to our staff studying towards their accounting qualifications in the form of time off,
payment of course fees (including the CAANZ professional qualifications) and assistance with the purchase of textbooks.  We also provide both in-house and external training courses to ensure our qualified staff meets their CAANZ continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.

Start on a Wednesday at midday

Out for lunch with your Team (includes all new graduates, Trainer, Manager, Admin Support and Review Team.

Back to the office for a briefing on Health and Safety and we get you to join our internal Facebook page (this is how the majority of our internal communication is made at CT).

Afternoon tea with the wider team

Finish at 4.30
