Our Story

FNZ Introduction

FNZ was founded in New Zealand in 2004 as a wealth management platform and business process outsourcing (BPO) supplier. From the outset, FNZ provided a service platform comprising investor and asset servicing, technology and infrastructure to financial institutions including banks, insurers and asset managers.

FNZ has grown significantly over the last 12 years. We’ve been operational in the UK since 2005, with expansion into Australia in 2010, the Czech Republic in 2010, Hong Kong in 2012, Singapore and Italy in 2014 and Shanghai in 2016. We now employ over 1,000 colleagues across the globe, with over 200 based in our Solutions Centre in Wellington.

Today FNZ is responsible for over NZ$150 billion in Assets under Administration on behalf of our major institutional customers worldwide. We are the market leader in wealth-management, administration and custodian solutions. This is delivered through the development and implementation of a high quality technology and service platform.

By combining a modern, innovative, rich and tailored digital experience with low-cost scale investment processing, we provide a service platform that enables exceptional wealth management administration and engagement across the financial services sector servicing over one million investors.
