Agribusiness Internship Programme
Jump the fence to the Farm Source paddock
The good we create? It’s for people and place. Through manaakitanga and kaitiakitanga. For today, and tomorrow. To leave things better than we found them.
Here at Farm Source, the success of our farmers is at the heart of everything we do. From Invercargill to Kaitaia and everywhere in-between, our Farm Source whanau of 900 strong brings the collective strength of the Co-Op directly to farmers, connecting them with the products, services and advice they need to continue creating goodness for generations to come.
For our Agri-Business internship programme, we’re looking for agricultural enthusiasts eager to supplement their in class learning with real world experience all while making a difference to our farmers and our communities.
Sow the seeds
Enjoy a summer like no other with unbeatable business experience! This is much more than just a summer internship and will offer you an excellent opportunity to get a strong gumboot in the door to future mahi post study.
Over the course of three months (typically beginning late November) you’ll find yourself front and centre within one our Farm Source stores as the face and place of our team in the rural community.
Our structured programme will see you discover the different parts of Farm Source and the role they place in not only supporting our Farmer Shareholders but also connecting them to Fonterra. What’s more, you’ll have a unique opportunity to own and deliver a key project within the business all while building your future people networks.
Cultivate your career
We’re not looking for just a summer fling! Where possible, you’ll stick with us throughout your final year of study and continue to broaden your experience by working part time hours at your local Farm Source store. But don’t worry, we’ll ensure they fit around your busy study schedule.
To be eligible for the programme, you must be in your second to last year of study and have a valid and current work visa. The programme generally begins late November and runs for 12 weeks with the opportunity for time off for a Christmas holiday.
Watch it grow
