Kindergarten students transition to the Junior School which caters for Year 0 - 6.  Our innovative programmes are designed to challenge young students while ensuring that their natural inquisitiveness, creativity and inherent sense of fun is nurtured along the way. All students are offered the same specialist classes in the Junior School as part of the Primary Years Programme (IB programme), including the Year 6 inquiry-based exhibition, a highlight for the staff and students. Junior School students enjoy the use of exploring outdoors in the bush at the rear of the school, as well as camps from Year 3 and even a 10-day adventure to Beijing in Year 6.

Most of our teachers also teach across to our Senior School, which caters for Year 11-13.  Kristin has extremely high academic standards and prides itself on the successes and achievements of the students at these levels. For Year 12 and 13 the students are offered the choice of sitting the 2-year IB Diploma or NCEA Levels 2 and 3.
