Why apply for the Emerging Leaders Awards?
The Emerging Leaders Awards are about celebrating talent and leadership, rewarding young leaders with the opportunity to develop further. This year we are presenting seven awards, one for each of the following categories:
The winning participant in each category will receive:
A C-Suite Lunch with a senior leader, from their respective category sponsor.
A mentor for 3 months, with a minimum of four sessions.
Enrolment in the Leadership Mastery online course.
A bespoke CV Workshop, facilitated by TalentSolutions.
But, at the end of the day, it is not just about winning. The Emerging Leaders Awards will offer finalists:
The chance to travel to Auckland, with the cost of travel and accommodation covered for the night.
The chance to experience a best-practice assessment centre process, in a supportive and relaxed environment.
An awards ceremony where our finalists get the opportunity to meet New Zealand’s top graduate employers, our event sponsors and key stakeholders, and mingle with drinks, food and entertainment.
Applications more generally are offered the rare chance to undertake psychometric testing (common across graduate applications) and receive their results. This will put you one step ahead of other graduates and prepare you for your first real graduate job application!
You do not have to be an A+ student to be considered for an award; being a leader is about being a well-rounded individual. Celebrating talent is just as much about celebrating you as a person, as well as your academics and the activities you are involved in.
