We care. We build trusting relationships with our clients so that we are best suited to protect their legacy. We create solutions for families that consider their goals and give financial advice to ensure their assets are managed towards preferred outcomes. This means we have a varied business and our teams come from many different professions. This summer we are looking for students to join us from the following backgrounds:

Law or Commerce students, to be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch

Many of our current team members in customer-facing positions come from a background in law or commerce. You will have the chance to experience the Personal Client Services and Corporate Trust sides of our business. Learn about Will, Trust and EPA management from the more senior staff with years of experience in our business and other large financial service firms. This career path is well set out and will present an array of opportunities with us in the future.

Accounting students, to be based in Auckland

Be a part of our busy Client Accounting team. You will have a chance to put your technical knowledge to practical use and find out what it takes to work in a fast-paced, successful corporate services team. Depending on your abilities with financial accounting, we also have the opportunity for you to rotate to our Finance team who deal with our large corporate trust clients as well as internal processes. We will design the internship programme around you and your background. This is a huge opportunity for you to make an impression on a range of accounting-focused teams.

Information Technology students, to be based in Auckland

Be immersed in the IT team’s world. We have two sub-teams: IT applications and IT infrastructure. You will be placed in one of these sub-teams or rotate between them, depending on your skills and interests. You will be engaged with the day-to-day workings of the team. Regardless of which team/both you are placed in, you will be given a project that will directly impact the day-to-day operation in our business. You will have the support and guidance of our brilliant Head of IT, who will look to you for innovative ideas for business improvement.

Our internship programme runs in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch from early December to mid-February. It's your chance to experience working life in a large, well-established financial services firm.
