Our vision is that all young people in Aotearoa realise their full potential.

Work with us to lead the future!

Our participants do not start out as qualified teachers - in fact, they come from a range of academic disciplines and backgrounds.
At Ako Mātātupu: Teach First NZ we support great people to become highly effective teachers and inspirational leaders who make a difference.

Our teaching and education leadership programme has been identified as offering one of the top Graduate Development experiences in New Zealand. The programme provides carefully selected participants with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a school community, inspiring future generations of New Zealanders to fulfil their potential.

Not only will you be a part of a national movement towards change and make a real difference in the community, you will be awarded with a Masters in Teaching and Education Leadership and paid a full salary as you learn.

Ako Mātātupu: Teach First NZ's vision is for all young people in Aotearoa New Zealand to fulfil their potential.
