Where you can work as a WSP Intern

Q: Where can I work?

A: We have 40 offices across New Zealand – from Whangarei to Invercargill (and everywhere in between). We try to accommodate the preferences of individual applicants. However, because of the volume of applications, it is not always possible to offer you your first choice. The more flexible you can be regarding location, the more opportunities will be open to you.

Q: When will I start working?

A: Our Summer Internships typically start once exams have finished in mid-November. Roles carry on through the Summer break, usually concluding in mid-February. There is some flexibility on start and end dates if required, so please be sure to specify your availability in your application.

Q: What salary does WSP offer?

A: We offer a competitive salary, which varies slightly depending on your year of study.

Q: How do I know if I am eligible?

A: You will be completing your second-to-last year of study in your Bachelor’s degree – see recruited disciplines above – from a New Zealand university before the Summer break. You should be finished with your practical work hours (if applicable).

Q: What if I have already graduated?

A: Please view our current vacancies for other opportunities outside of our Summer Internships that are better suited to your skills, experience and interest.
