We are a growing professional and relationship-driven business, well regarded for appointing senior executives to many of New Zealand’s organisations.  Based in modern offices in the Auckland CBD, we offer a flexible and fun team culture and one which encourages the development of our people (visit www.hobsonleavy.com for more information).  Due to the growth of our business, we are seeking a tertiary-qualified researcher to join our Auckland based research team.

The role 

You will lead research assignments involving desk-based and telephone research to generate candidate longlists, which will be presented to the client.  This will be achieved through researching and identifying high caliber local national and international senior executives.  

Working with our partners and other members of the consulting and research team, you will receive training on a variety of research methods and tools used in Executive Search.  This is an intellectually challenging role where you will gain learnings around a diverse range of industry sectors and people leadership trends.  

Role is based in either Auckland or Wellington.

You will be self-confident and self-motivated, have a mature outlook and have an interest in current affairs especially in the business sector.

You will ideally have a proven track record or qualifications in a related field. An undergraduate degree (preferably postgraduate) from a reputable university is required.
